Asia Schools Open - Asian 3v3 Debate (Winter Edition)
“ASO Winter,” officially known as the Asia Schools Open – Asian 3v3 Debate (Winter Edition), is the premier debating tournament for middle and high school students across the Asia Pacific region. This competition adheres to the Asian 3v3 debating format and takes place annually in January, marking the commencement of a new year of competitive debating.
Attracting participants from diverse countries such as Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand, among others, the event typically sees a representation of over 150 students. It has become a significant platform for fostering debate skills and intellectual exchange.
The current titleholders are Felicity Wong from Wilton Academy, Brian Luo from Shanghai American School Pudong Campus, and Vincent Ying from Shanghai High School International Division.
