Australasian Public Speaking Championships

The Australasian Public Speaking Championships distinguishes itself as the foremost public speaking competition tailored for middle and high school students throughout the expansive Asia Pacific region. Employing the Modified WIDPSC format, commonly referred to as Modified Worlds, this annual event unfurls with participants immersing themselves in a captivating trio of public speaking categories: Impromptu Speaking, Interpretive Reading, and Persuasive Speaking. Drawing participants from a myriad of nations, including Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand, the competition consistently assembles a varied cohort of over 100 students. Over time, it has transformed into a significant platform dedicated to nurturing eloquence, linguistic finesse, and other indispensable communication skills.
