Asia Pacific Public Speaking Championships

The Asian Pacific Public Speaking Championships stands out as the premier public speaking competition catering to middle and high school students across the expansive Asia Pacific region. Embracing the Modified WIDPSC format, colloquially known as Modified Worlds, this annual event unfolds with participants engaging in a captivating triad of public speaking categories: Impromptu Speaking, Interpretive Reading, and Persuasive Speaking. This three-pronged approach adds a multifaceted dimension to the competition, challenging students to showcase their prowess in diverse facets of effective communication.

 

Attracting participants from a diverse array of nations, including Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand, the competition consistently assembles a diverse cohort of over 100 students. Over time, it has evolved into a significant forum dedicated to nurturing articulacy, linguistic finesse, and other indispensable communication skills.
