Overview

The Asia Schools Open (ASO) makes its eagerly anticipated return in December for the promised winter edition of the premier debating contest, with the familiar faces of world-renowned judges taking centre stage for teams in their frenetic dash to finish the contest as Asian champions.

While the Asia Schools Open will continue to look very different from a year ago, debate-starved competitors will be able to feast on 5 preliminary rounds and a break to the Open Quarter-Finals and 16-and-Under Semi-Finals over 2 intensive days of debating. With returning teams from Vietnam, China, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Philippines coming back to compete for the Asian title, speaker awards up for grabs and a heated exchanges between judges in the demonstration debates, there's much to expect from the return to this arena in December.
