The Final Stage of the Year

The Asian Public Speaking Championships, held on December 7-8, 2024, marked a fitting and spectacular conclusion to EduDrift’s online competition calendar for the year. As our biggest public speaking event to date, the championship brought together a diverse group of talented speakers from across the region, each ready to inspire and impress with their creativity, passion, and eloquence.
What set this event apart was its unique structure, designed to challenge participants across three distinct speaking segments—impromptu speaking, persuasive speaking, and interpretive reading. Each segment pushed participants to demonstrate a different set of skills: the ability to navigate complex topics with poise and precision, and deliver expressive readings that brought various texts to life. Despite the virtual nature of the competition, the performances transcended screens, proving that strong, authentic communication holds the power to connect and inspire regardless of the setting.
