Events Committee

  • The Tournament & Events Director is in charge of organizing, producing, running, and overseeing virtual and in-person events such as debating tournaments and conferences. They collaborate closely with other members of the events committee to ensure that all necessary collateral and documentation are properly produced and delivered on time.
    They also act as a convenor during events and are tasked to address all even-ralted concerns.

  • The Tabulation Director ensures the continuity of a debate tournament. They facilitate participant check-in and are in charge of setting up the tab for debating tournaments. They ensure that speaker names, scores, and feedback are correctly reflected in the event tab as well as making sure that audits are done properly. They also generate all round draws and address all tab-related concerns.

  • Digital Directors are in charge of setting up the Slack workspace and Zoom halls for virtual debating tournaments. They allocate participants and judges to the proper breakout rooms and screen all essential collaterals throughout the entirety of the event. They also address all digital-related concerns.

  • The Media Director is in charge of producing all collaterals for tournaments and events such as logos, virtual backgrounds, PowerPoint presentations, photos, and other publication materials. They also ensure that the collaterals produced are done on time for the event and in line with EduDridt quality standards.
