About Trainee Judges
Debaters who want to learn more about the adjudication aspect of debate may apply as trainee judges for this event. Trainee judges will learn how to adjudicate debate rounds, score speeches, and how to properly deliver a verdict.

During this round, trainee judges will be taught how to analyze a debate and dissect the arguments forwarded by the speakers.

During this round, trainee judges will learn how the scoring structure of a debate and will be taught how to properly score speeches.
