With two weeks to go, the 2026 edition of the Asia Junior Championships – Debate (Winter Edition) happening on 24-25 January officially begins its countdown. As our first junior debate championship of the year, this tournament sets the tone for the season ahead.
Across the tournament, debaters will be tested in fast-paced rounds that demand adaptability, as well as selected prepared rounds that reward depth of research and clarity of argument. The prepared motions for Round 2 and the Grand Finals, released below, are intended to spark early engagement and careful consideration of the issues at hand.
